About the event

The Musicians of London are delighted to invite you to a special concert celebrating the 120th anniversary of the death of the great composer, Antonin Dvorak. Our Night in Prague concert will take place on Sunday, 28th at 5:30pm. In the programme, you can look forward to Dvorak's Slavonic Dances performed 4 hands by pianists Julia Klimek and Zhibo Cui, as well as the beautifully haunting Songs My Mother Taught Me sung by the talented soprano, Samantha Quillish. The evening will be a tribute to Dvorak, but will also feature works by Smetana to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth and 140th anniversary of his death. This concert promises to be a unique blend of music from two iconic composers, and a celebration of their lasting impact on the world of classical music. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of a night that honors multiple anniversaries. As always, Professor Raymond Holden AM will be our presenter, delving into the life of the composers and bringing us closer to the masterpieces they created.

In the programme: Antonín Dvořák's Slavonic Dances Op 46 & 72

Songs by Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana
