An Autumn Romance

The Musicians of London would like to invite you to ‘An Autumn Romance’, the first concert in our new season at St Mary with All Souls Church, Abbey Road, London NW6 4SN. Transporting you back to the Nineteenth Century with works by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms on Sunday 8 October 2023 at 5.30pm (doors open at 5pm) will be Rusne Tuslaite (soprano), Aleksandra Kenenova (mezzo-soprano), Constantine Akritides (tenor), Masimba Ushe (bass) and the pianists Julia Klimek and Francesca Orlando. Also joining us as special guest speaker will be Professor Raymond Holden AM, Emeritus Professor of Music at the Royal Academy of Music, London.

‘An Autumn Romance’ will be the first concert in our unique, nine-concert series called ‘Music for all Seasons’. Inspired by composers from across Europe, our exciting new series will focus on chamber music, and will bring together outstanding young professional musicians from around the world to perform and explore a plethora of different repertoires and art forms. Throughout this nine-concert series, we will encourage our audiences to experience music in different ways. We hope to challenge the traditional concert setting, and will be welcoming guests from the worlds of academia, dance, theatre and the visual arts worlds.
